Mayo Clinic in Florida: Celebrating 40 Years of Service
The story began with a simple but ambitious question: Could Mayo Clinic’s distinctive model of care be extended to serve patients in another part of the country?
Join us on Wednesday, October 14, for Mayo Jacksonville’s story told by Dr. Virginia Wright-Peterson, who will sign copies of her book “Mayo Clinic in Florida.” Proceeds to benefit important medical research and education at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Wright-Peterson is an author and educator with a special interest in untold stories, especially women’s history and the history of Mayo Clinic, including “Women of Mayo Clinic: The Founding Generation.”
