Flashbacks, a recurring series of short vignettes published by the Resident Community News, is researched and written by staff at the Jacksonville History Center. Many of the images in the Flashback stories come from the Jacksonville History Center’s massive collection of Florida Times-Union negatives, which date from the late 1930s to the mid-1970s.
